We talked about my solar eclipse adventure last Sunday, and this week, we’re celebrating the 'stoner eclipse' – a personal favorite holiday of mine. And guess what? This year's 4/20 kicked off a 10-day palindrome date streak, from 4-20-24 to 4-29-24! You know us – always geeking out over mathematical patterns. 4/20 has held a special spot in my heart ever since I discovered its true meaning. When I was in high school, 🧬 told me about the first-ever weed college in the US in MI but wouldn’t let me attend. 🧬 also mentioned that when he was at Oakland University, it was illegal to smoke anywhere in MI, but if you smoked in Ann Arbor, MI, you only got a $5 fine and didn’t go to jail.

Fun fact: as of April 2024, recreational marijuana is legal in 24 states, including MI and NJ!

I like keeping my traditions alive by doing something special every year, whether it’s making a nice meal for my friends or just chilling by myself. Yesterday I cooked Osso Buco and watched Wonka with Sierra & King Bob. It's always a special, hazy kind of day.
